China Book Import Center
China Book Import Center (CBIC) imports books, newspapers, periodicals and E-publications from foreign countries and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions. During the last two decades, the Center has been keeping long-term stable cooperation with major publishers and distributors in the world, aiming at serving the society, libraries and academic institutions by supplying them academic publications, symposiums and databases, etc. Great varieties of diversified bestsellers of imported art albums, novels, dictionaries, tourist guides, etc. are on consignment at guesthouses, hotels and bookstores.
	CBIC is well-known among colleagues as a "wind vane" for promptly importing bestsellers. In 2003, the sales of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix topped atop the other foreign titles in China. 2004 witnessed the cooperation with Harper Collins U.K. for sales of The Lord of the Rings and its related cultural items at cinemas in Beijing. The successful marketing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2005 furthered the impact in Chinese market for imported books.
CBIC will, as always, strive for a closer cooperation with partners and better services to customers on the basis of mutual benefit.
